The South Region
This region is where the vast majority of the population is located as it includes cities like Valparaiso, Viña del Mar and Santiago- the capital of Chile. It is known as the "decision making center" of Chile because core administrative, economic, political, and cultural activities are all concentrated in this area. The weather is ideal for almost any kind of activity; from agricultural to tourism.
This is one of the main wine producing regions (the valley of Cachapoal, Colchagua, and Maule are located here; so is our winery and Vineyards). This region also compromises the archeological mysteries and ecological enchantment of the Easter Island (where you can find the MOAI sculptures) and Juan Fernandez Island (where Daniel Defoe was inspired to create the Robinson Crusoe character in the first ever English novel). This region is also visited from tourists of diverse origin, as it IS the place where you can access the most famous ski centers of Portillo, Valle Nevado and Farellones.
